GDIT is seeking highly cleared creative software engineer candidate with active TS SCI w/Poly to support our customer by joining a small, energetic, versatile team building a high-visibility web application for managing facilities projects.

The selected candidate must be a self-starter, a team player, be highly collaborative and highly responsive. Candidate will be expected to work as part of a team to architect, design, and build a new system to replace an existing COTS product.

We are seeking a software engineer to support government activities by joining a small, energetic, versatile team to architect, design, and build a new system to replace an existing COTS product. You will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service.

• Demonstrated hands on experience programming web and client/server applications using Java, Typescript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Demonstrated hands on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
• Demonstrated hands on experience with upgrading Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, especially from much older versions to newer versions
• Demonstrated hands on experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular
• Demonstrated hands on experience with database design and querying (SQL, Oracle)
• Demonstrated hands on experience with version control such as Git (Git Hub, Gitlab, etc.)
• Demonstrated hands on experience with building APIs and services using REST

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

• Demonstrated hands on experience with Linux-based or Windows based systems and shell scripting
• Demonstrated experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Demonstrated hands on experience with build automation technologies like Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Cypress)
• Demonstrated experience with Web Sphere or Tomcat
• Demonstrated experience with Maximo
• Demonstrated experience with Cognos
• Location: Chantilly, VA (On Customer Site)
• US Citizenship Required
• Security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Salary and Benefits:
The likely salary range for this position is $182,750 - $247,250. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. View information about benefits and our total rewards program.
