- Description Leidos is seeking a Test Engineer for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Test Engineer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers. Primary Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing.

* Execute automated regression suites and analyze results to ensure system reliability.

* Collaborate with developers and QA peers to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities.

* Contribute to test planning, case design, and documentation.

* Perform manual testing (functional, exploratory, regression) when needed.

* Report and track defects to closure in coordination with development teams.

* Stay updated with emerging test automation tools and techniques.

Required Qualifications
* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 12+ years of experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.

* Software professional experience in QA with a focus on automation.

* Strong knowledge of automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Katalon, Cypress, Playwright).

* Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured).

* Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Desired Qualifications
* Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).

* Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.

* Experience with version control (Git).

* Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops).

* Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
