Senior Web Application Developer We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Web Application Developer to join our team at a government site in Chantilly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust web-based applications, utilizing industry best practices to ensure high performance, security, and scalability.

• Translate User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) wireframes into fully functional, efficient code, ensuring seamless integration and user satisfaction.

• Conduct thorough testing to validate software functionality, identify issues, and implement necessary improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, system engineers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet user needs.

• Evaluate existing systems and recommend upgrades or enhancements to optimize performance and functionality.

• Document all aspects of the software, including design, code, and deployment procedures, to facilitate future maintenance and upgrades.

• Lead or support major technology assignments, offering technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.

• Ensure compliance with security standards and government regulations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in web application development.

• Proven proficiency with JavaScript/Type Script, Angular, and React frameworks.

• Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.

• Strong experience in translating UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible web applications.

• Ability to evaluate technical performance results and recommend strategic adjustments.

• Prior experience leading projects or supervising team members is preferred.

• Security clearance of TS/SCI required.
