Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Cloud Engineer - Software

Position Requirements

Requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph.

Full Stack Developer – Level 3 Senior – Software Engineer. Salary up to $200,000. Core hours 9am-4pm.

Location:

Chantilly, VA.

Participate in development efforts to deliver a complete software solution across the cloud-based software development lifecycle (front end, back end, database, etc.). Design and implement all levels of the solution: data layer, application code, user interface. Design and deliver APIs and integrations with other software systems and databases. Architect for optimal use of enterprise infrastructure (cloud) and security requirements.

Experience delivering the design and development of custom software applications. Programming and coding from the data layer through the application layer to the user interface. Decomposing functional requirements into technical specifications and tasks. Software development frameworks and languages such as Python, React.js, JavaScript, Type Script, SQL and XML. Developing and maintaining unit test scripts. Developing APIs and web services for integration between systems and data sets.

• Work with the Chief Engineer and Technical Leads to translate requirements into user stories, incorporating new functionality into various software applications.
• Integrate with Infrastructure-as-Code Dev Ops tools to support cloud orchestration of software components.
• Leverage AWS best practices to optimize code for cloud deployment with cost‑conscious development and deployment strategies.
• Develop front‑end user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, HTML, CSS, etc.
• Develop web APIs to interface with cloud applications and databases as part of cloud‑native software applications.
• Work as part of an agile team to deliver software iteratively.

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience with application‑layer programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, C++).
• Database / Data Layer experience (e.g., SQL, unstructured data, Mongo
  
  DB, Python, R, Elasticsearch, data management and analytics tools).
• Front‑end development skills (e.g., modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, etc.).
• Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining systems on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience in Agile / Scrum.
