Insight Xcite is seeking a Software Developer to support mission‑critical operational and enterprise environments within the Intelligence Community. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure applications and services that support high‑priority customer missions. The ideal candidate thrives in fast‑paced environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges across a variety of mission and enterprise systems.
What You'll Do- Design, develop, test, and maintain mission‑focused software applications
- Develop backend services, APIs, and enterprise applications
- Support system integrations and modernization initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
- Participate in Agile development and Dev Ops activities
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operational teams
- Contribute to secure software development and deployment practices
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and code repositories
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)
- Minimum 6 years of software development experience
- Experience with Git, version control, and software development lifecycle practices
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, or automation tools
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community or government environments
- Full stack or frontend development experience
- Relevant technical certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
