Software Engineer, Java Developer, Backend Developer

Active Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph required.

Salary Range:
Up to $220K (salary is commensurate with education and experience)

Looking for a full stack developer supporting a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services.

This job requires an existing Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph.

• Citizenship:
  Must be a US citizen
• Existing Clearance:
  Active Top Secret SCI with Poly
• Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two)
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on, back‑end Java development experience (not Java script or Springboot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment
• College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree

• Performing schema updates
• Significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queries
• Significant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work
• Significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization

• Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services
• Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB
