Software Developer; Full Stack​/Backend Intern

Overview

Tele World Solutions is seeking a motivated Software Developer Intern to join our engineering team. In this role, you will assist in enhancing the backend logic and data integration layers of our enterprise automation platform while contributing to its web-based user interface. This is a unique opportunity for a college student to gain hands‑on experience working on an established, high‑scale project, where you will contribute to real‑world features that power global wireless networks.

You will work closely with senior developers to maintain enterprise services, optimize data processing, and ensure a seamless connection between our backend systems and our management console.

As an intern, you won’t just be writing scripts; you will be helping build the “brain” of a 5G network automation engine. You will learn how to handle complex data states, manage enterprise‑level services, and visualize that data for network engineers. • Backend Logic Support:
  Assist in developing and updating enterprise-level Java services (EJB) to support automation workflows.
• Data Integration:
  Work on logic that processes and transforms network data for storage and frontend visualization.
• Feature Enhancement:
  Assist in updating UI components to reflect backend state changes, ensuring data is displayed accurately and efficiently.
• Bug Resolution:
  Help identify and resolve issues within the application stack, focusing on backend service reliability and data consistency.
• Development Lifecycle:
  Participate in testing new features and assist with documentation for new system processes.

Qualifications relevant to this internship include the following:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Junior or Senior standing preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• A desire to learn enterprise‑level Java development and full‑stack integration.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

• Modern Java Knowledge:
  Foundational understanding of Java 17+ through coursework or personal projects.
• Core Backend Concepts:
  Familiarity with Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) and basic database interactions.
• Web Frameworks:
  Familiarity with Java‑based web frameworks is a plus. Opportunity to learn Prime Faces and XHTML Facelets to bind backend data to interactive user interfaces.
• Frontend Basics:
  Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Development Tools:
  Exposure to version control systems like Git. Familiarity with Maven or Docker is a significant plus.
• Telecom Interest:
  An interest in Telecommunications Networking concepts is a plus.
