Looking to expand your software engineering? We are seeking a high-performing, curious, and motivated software engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong software development fundamentals, a passion for learning, and an interest in solving complex business problems in a large-scale enterprise environment. While prior People Soft experience is not required, successful candidates will demonstrate strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn enterprise application development platforms and business systems.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Design, develop, test, and support enterprise software solutions
- Learn and leverage delivered capability as much as possible
- Work with senior developers and business stakeholders to implement enhancements and solve technical problems
- Learn and develop within the People Soft ecosystem, including integrations, workflows, and custom applications
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and continuous improvement efforts
- Develop integrations and interfaces between enterprise systems and modern applications/services
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Contribute to technical documentation and development standards
- Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Experience working in high‑paced, pressured situations
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn new technologies
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Windows and Office products
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Enterprise Software Applications (Workday, Service Now, Salesforce)
- Internship, co‑op, academic, or personal project experience in software development
- Exposure to enterprise systems or ERP platforms
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, web services, or integration technologies
- Experience working in Agile or collaborative development environments
- Exposure to People Soft, Oracle technologies, or enterprise application support (a plus, but not required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong foundation in software development principles and programming concepts
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Understanding of:
- Object‑oriented programming
- APIs and system integrations
- Relational databases and SQL
- Source control systems such as Git
- Software development lifecycle and debugging techniques
- Asks thoughtful questions and enjoys learning
- Takes initiative and owns problems
- Willing to put in the effort to learn new skills
- Adapts quickly to new technologies and business domains
- Works well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The proposed salary range for this position is $86,600 – $181,800. Final salary is influenced by factors such as geographic location, contract category, experience, skills, and education.
