Back End Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced back‑end developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high‑performance services and APIs for Booz Allen. The role focuses on clean code, robust APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to deliver user‑focused solutions.

• 5+ years of software development experience with programming languages, such as Python.
• 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications using Agile methods.
• Experience with AWS, including serverless (AWS Lambda).
• Experience with object‑oriented programming, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with SQL and No

• Experience solving complex problems within a collaborative, cross‑functional team.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• High School diploma or GED.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Experience with front‑end programming languages and web stacks (e.g., React).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Terragrunt.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, extreme programming, product management, and software products.
• Ability to work with automated testing tools for testing and maintenance.
