Software Engineer – Space Mission Systems

We are looking for a Software Engineer driven by purpose to build critical software for ground systems and real‑time capabilities that space missions rely on. In this role you’ll design, develop, and enhance software, modernize legacy components, architect new mission‑focused capabilities, and shape how data is processed and systems communicate, ultimately helping mission teams execute with precision.

Take ownership of complex engineering challenges, modernizing legacy components and architecting new micro‑service based solutions.

Improve performance, resilience, and operational speed for space operations.

• 5+ years of software development experience with Java, Python, Rust, or Go
• 3+ years of experience with Linux‑based systems, containers, and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience transitioning legacy applications to a modernized microservice‑based architecture
• Experience working within a cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google
• Experience developing end‑to‑end solutions using back‑end and front‑end languages
• Experience solving complex problems in a collaborative, cross‑functional team
• Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI clearance with polygraph likewise desirable)
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 10+ years in lieu of a degree

Projected salary range: $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD).
