Sr. Dev Ops Full-Stack Software Engineer

We’re seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative software developer to engineer new solutions and support existing capabilities of an agile software program for the national intelligence community. The role leads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems, develop code and integrate complex software components into a fully functional system, create verification plans, test procedures, and documentation, and provide technical leadership for projects and supplier management.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Software development tasks including detailed software design, coding, and testing of customer desired features/user stories.
- Develop and sustain new and existing applications; troubleshoot and resolve various software issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate and implement infrastructure and solutions for software development.
- Develop and enhance Dev Sec Ops operations across multiple environments.
- Monitor and maintain software development environments and tools.
- Participate in peer reviews and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
- Utilize analytical problem‑solving skills to resolve issues and improve processes and tools.
- Contribute to the creation of new distributed components and interactions that align with the future system architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Active U.S. Top‑Secret Security Clearance (active in past 24 months). SCI eligibility.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- 5+ years experience in foundational CS knowledge, object‑oriented design and software patterns.
- Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git Hub or IBM Rational Team Concert.
- Experience working in continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) with build and test automation tools.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, computer science, data science, mathematics, chemistry, physics, or related field.
- 9+ years related work experience (or 13+ years with Bachelor’s, 17+ years with relevant experience).
- Solid experience in Java (3+ years).
- Experience in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud architecture (AWS, Terraform).
- Experience evaluating, testing, and integrating software tools.
- Experience with Gitlab, Jenkins, Sonatype Nexus, JavaScript and JS frameworks (REACT, jQuery, etc.), Spring Framework, Hibernate, Mongo
DB, MySQL, XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL/Web Service protocols. - Experience with dependency management (Ivy, Maven, Gradle).
- Experience/knowledge of the GEOINT domain.
- Familiarity with test‑driven development, agile, CI, and dependency management.
- Security Certification such as Security+ or CISSP.
- Right to work in the U.S.; employment decisions made without regard to protected characteristics.
- Must be a “U.S. Person” for U.S. export‑control compliance (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
- Not a safety‑sensitive position.

- Security‑clearance required; active Top‑Secret clearance.

- Pay Range: $160,650 – $232,300.
