Full Stack Developer UI​/UX

Leidos has immediate opportunities for a UI/UX Engineer to join a team building innovative software supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. We're supporting a well-established customer that is responsible for critical and high‑visibility missions applications used by a wide audience. Our team is tremendously talented, and we need to add a talented and creative UIUX Engineer to the team.

• Proven ability to create well‑structured and maintainable Word Press site themes from scratch.
• Proficiency in developing Word Press plugins to support custom site functionality and integrations.
• Good eye for design and attention to detail.
• Improve the overall efficiency of the website’s back‑end including database and server integration.
• Maintain and optimize the Word Press theme and plugins.
• Conduct website performance tests, and execute performance enhancements to improve site speed.
• Monitor the performance of the live website and troubleshoot content and user experience issues that arise.
• Responsible for both back‑end and front‑end development including the implementation of Word Press themes and plugins as well as site integration.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required to perform well as a member of a rapid paced, cross‑functional team environment.
• Utilize agile development methodology.

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Requires BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
• Understanding of usability and accessibility issues across all device types.
• Experience with Word Press front‑end development using the following technologies: HTML5, SASS (or equivalent preprocessor)/CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Word Press back‑end development using the following technologies: PHP, MySQL, WP REST API, JSON.
• Developing custom features and functionality for Word Press.
• Creating Word Press plugins.
• Producing unit testing and QA.
• Developing and Testing for Accessibility.

• Certification – Amazon Web Services (AWS).
