Full Stack Developer

Location:

Chantilly, VA

Must have an active TS/SCI FS Poly

Looking for a full stack developer supporting a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services.

Responsibilities

Support a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services.

Required Skills

Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years)
- Performing schema updates
- Submitting Lucene queries
- Understanding how Solr/Elastic shards work
- Tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, PySpark, Spark, and HBase (prefer at least two of the list)
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not JavaScript or Spring Boot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment
College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree

Optional Skills

Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services.
Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB.
