Engineer - FS Poly

Overview

Security Clearance: TS/SCI Fullscope Poly investigation is required.

Apogee's ideal Engineer will support our Intelligence Client in a dynamic environment supporting operations, data analysis, and data visualization tools development. The candidate will work closely with the chief engineer and product users to solve complex data-driven problems throughout the software development lifecycle of existing and new applications. The ideal candidate should have the capacity to work on both the front and back-end portions of the software environment.

The candidate will implement software testing, operations, and maintenance (O&M), troubleshooting, system backup/restore, and software upgrades. A strong candidate will be a self-starter and have a demonstrated ability to learn and implement new skills across both software engineering and user domains adhering to well established software design and development principles.

• Support operations, data analysis, and data visualization tools development across the software lifecycle.
• Work on front-end and back-end portions of the software environment.
• Implement software testing, operations and maintenance (O&M), troubleshooting, system backup/restore, and software upgrades.
• Collaborate with the chief engineer and product users to solve complex data-driven problems.
• Learn and apply new skills across software engineering and user domains following established design and development principles.

• Bachelor's Degree. STEM degree strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in an object-oriented language such as Java, C#/.NET
• STK Systems Tool Kit Components and Engine
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience with code repositories, such as Subversion and Git
• Experience developing software for geospatial, air and space domains
• 5+ years experience in one of the following skill sets:
  Software Engineering;
  Web/Software Development;
  Aerospace Engineering;
  Data Science;
  Applications Development;
  Machine Learning Engineering;
  Systems Engineering
