Job Description:

NAOVI is seeking a Software Engineer full stack developer to support a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services.

Required qualifications:

• Must currently possess an Active TS/SCI w/FS polygraph security clearance.
• No clearance sponsor ships are available.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years).
• Experience performing schema updates and submitting Lucene queries.
• Knowledge of Solr/Elastic shard architecture.
• Experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization.
• Minimum of 3 years in a big data environment using Hadoop, PySpark, Spark, or HBase (at least two).
• College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with AWS services.
• Experience with JIRA and Git Hub.
