Janus Soft is seeking an elite, mission-focused Software Developer to architect and engineer component-based services that integrate seamlessly across multiple intelligence community applications and frameworks. In this critical role, you will go beyond traditional software development to deliver high-impact, mission-based solutions.

You will be at the forefront of cloud-based development and data science, designing, building, and maintaining robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for highly complex data applications. Your work will directly involve testing, evaluating, and integrating cutting‑edge machine learning models—specifically Large Language Models (LLMs)—into production software. By creating RESTful APIs and microservices, you will expose vital data insights that empower decision-makers.

Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

Programming & Data Science:
Demonstrated experience developing Python applications utilizing data science libraries.

Machine Learning:
Hands‑on experience with ML frameworks including scikit‑learn, Spa Cy, Tensor Flow, PyTorch, and Keras.

Artificial Intelligence:
Proven expertise with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques.

Cloud Architecture:
Demonstrated experience with AWS Services and cloud‑based development environments.

Web Services & Databases:
Deep understanding of REST services and advanced SQL (specifically Postgres).

Search Technologies:
Familiarity and experience with search syntax, specifically ICQL and Retrieval Ware.

Analytical Problem Solving:
Strong on‑the‑job analytical skills to assess customer requirements, debug and test web applications, and engineer innovative solutions.

Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and other machine learning models into production software.

Proficiency in creating RESTful APIs or microservices using Flask, FastAPI, or Django to expose models and data insights.

Experience designing and building ETL pipelines, collaborative tools, and data visualization techniques.

Familiarity with optimizing algorithms for efficiency and implementing monitoring tools like Prometheus or MLflow to track model performance and detect drift.

Experience troubleshooting and solving issues related to development across multiple security boundaries (high and low side environments).
