Job SummaryNet App is uniquely positioned in the industry and partners with major hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, Azure), adding new challenges for Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). The Cloud Storage team is embarking on a new charter to address these challenges for cloud‑native applications, simplification of customer operations, and being a key differentiator.

Key Responsibilities- Own and drive the architecture and technical direction for complex cloud‑native services while remaining hands‑on by making meaningful code contributions (design, implementation, reviews, and quality). Ensure solutions meet performance, scale, reliability, and enterprise‑readiness requirements through validation and qualification.
- Ideate and work to solve complex customer problems and contribute to intellectual property.
- Coach and mentor engineers across the team (including new hires and early‑career talent) through design guidance, code reviews, and pairing, raising the bar on engineering excellence and execution.
- Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to ensure overall team objectives are met as one team.
- 12+ years of industry experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience in data management/migration systems & storage platforms for managing and storing data across various workloads and environments.
- 3+ years of expert‑level hands‑on experience in fault‑tolerant, highly scalable cloud architectures including service‑oriented architectures, cloud‑native (FaaS, PaaS), and cloud storage services with at least one hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Proficiency with file systems or file/cloud storage protocols. Experience in NFS/SMB/iSCSI protocols.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Golang, Node.js, Python.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git Hub, Jenkins, Ansible, CI build systems, and automated testing.
- Proactive, self‑driven with strong technical judgment and influential skills.
- Expertise to provide both architectural guidance and detailed technical direction.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, able to effectively engage with customers, stakeholders, and the engineering community.
- Excellent understanding of concepts related to storage architecture, storage management, data management, and standard networking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Agile Software Development practices.
- Work effectively with stakeholders, technical communication, and proven track record in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex customer problems.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical area of study (engineering disciplines).
- Master's degree in a technical field such as engineering, software development (preferred). Less experience may be compensated with higher education.
The target salary range for this position is $220,000–$265,000. The salary offered will be determined by candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors.
