The Opportunity

The Britton Group is seeking a
People Soft HCM Developer
to support the deployment and sustainment of a new
People Soft Human Capital Management (HCM)environment for an Intelligence Community customer.

This role focuses on the
technical development, configuration, and customization
of the People Soft platform to support enterprise workforce management capabilities. The selected candidate will assist in the
installation, configuration, and deployment of a new People Soft HCM implementation
, while collaborating with engineers, developers, and mission stakeholders in a secure, agile environment.

While the initial focus of this effort is the
People Soft HCM suite
, candidates with broader
People Tools development and People Soft platform experience
across other modules are strongly encouraged to apply.

This position requires a technically skilled developer capable of translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable People Soft solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, configure, and enhance
    People Soft HCM functionality
    using
    People Tools and related development technologies
  • Design and implement system components using
    Application Designer, SQR, People Code, and SQL
  • Support the
    installation, configuration, and deployment
    of a new People Soft HCM environment
  • Develop custom objects, reports, and integrations to support mission and business requirements
  • Document system designs, technical configurations, and development activities
  • Collaborate with
    cloud engineers, application developers, and cybersecurity teams
    to ensure secure and reliable system operations
  • Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions to improve system performance and stability
  • Support system testing, debugging, and deployment activities in an agile development environment
  • Work with stakeholders and end users to understand technical requirements and translate them into system capabilities
  • Recommend
    best practices for People Soft development, customization, and platform maintenance
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, with the ability to obtain an FSP, will also be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 3+ years of experience
    developing or supporting People Soft environments (multiple experience levels may be considered)
  • Experience with
    People Soft development tools
    , including:
    • Application Designer
    • People Code
    • SQR
    • SQL / SQL Developer
  • Experience supporting
    People Soft implementation, upgrades, or operations and maintenance activities
  • Experience configuring or developing within
    People Soft or comparable Oracle enterprise platforms
Desired Experience
  • Experience supporting
    People Soft HCM modules
  • Familiarity with
    People Soft integrations, reporting tools, and data management
  • Experience working in
    Agile or Dev Sec Ops  environments
  • Experience supporting
    secure federal or Intelligence Community programs
