We’re seeking a Software Engineer with strong systems administration fundamentals, hands‑on Python and Linux shell scripting experience, and the ability to build secure, reliable solutions across JWICS and C2S environments. In this position, you’ll design and maintain Elastic Search/Open Search capabilities, integrate complex AWS and C2S services, and develop cloud‑native workflows using CDK.

• Deep experience in software development
• Demonstrated experience with Python
• Demonstrated experience with Java Script
• Ability to program efficiently in at least one other back-end (NOT UI) language
• Analyzing unknown software code and extracting relevant fields to determine and mimic its behavior
• Ability to develop a software system testing harness or implement a continuous testing methodology on a project
• Installing Linux from scratch and developing complex Unix shell scripts
• Analyzing network traffic to understand client/server communications and requests
• Using AWS Cloud Development Kits (CDK). (Cloud Formation, Terraform or similar are NOT substitutes for CDK experience)
• Integrating cloud services including Lambda functions and layers, S3, Batch, EC2, Event Bridge, SNS, SQS, IAM roles, DynamoDB, and container services, etc.

• Tools, such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, JADX, or APKtool.
• Multiple cloud providers.
• Other programming languages besides Python.
