Java Developer

Expertise in Java/J2EE focused on enterprise application development with strong object‑oriented design skills.

• 7+ years of Java/J2EE software development experience
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with web services and RESTful APIs
• Proficient with JBoss and IBM Web Sphere Application Servers

• Automated unit testing (JUnit preferred)
• Database knowledge (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with AWS cloud web application development
• Agile Scrum team experience (scrum master or team member)

Identify patterns and build predictive and optimization models to deliver actionable insights across diverse datasets.

• Discover patterns and solve strategic business problems using structured and unstructured data across many environments
• Develop predictive and optimization models that drive better outcomes for customers, patients, and operations
• Focus on demand forecasting and supply optimization to support capacity planning and excellent service delivery
• Collaborate with business owners to gather requirements, choose analytical methods, and translate results to non‑technical audiences, including executive management
• Train and mentor team members as needed

• Strong practical knowledge of analytical techniques such as machine learning, segmentation, time‑series modeling, experimental design, neural networks, data mining, Bayesian inference, text analytics, and optimization
• Programming skills in SQL, R, and Python; ability to work with large datasets, data collection, normalization, and visualization
• Professionalism, reliability, flexibility, and a strong attention to detail with strict confidentiality of data
• Track record of thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment; ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize conflicting deadlines
• Self‑starter with the energy to develop new analytics capabilities
• Ability to build consensus, collaborate, and motivate others; works independently and collaboratively
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or related field
• 1+ years of full‑time work experience in data science, advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive analytics
• Experience leading large analytic projects to completion

• Build Java/Angular (Angular2+), web applications, and back‑end services for government customers
• Analyze, review, build, and modify applications; write and review technical design documents
• Develop Java/Angular web applications; participate in code reviews; collaborate cross‑functionally with cloud hosting, security, and other teams
• Apply best practices for software design, development, and maintenance (Dev/Ops) on small to medium‑sized projects with low to moderate complexity
• 2+ years development experience in Java; basic understanding of Apache Tomcat
• 2+ years Angular (Angular2+) development experience
• Understanding of established Java application design frameworks and patterns (preferably Spring)
• Knowledge or experience with UI/UX technologies:
  Angular5, Type Script, Java8, Node.js 6.1
