Senior Software Engineer Security Clearance

Overview

We are seeking a developer with a minimum of 10 years' experience to support the full lifecycle development (analyze, design, develop, deploy, maintain) of innovative and interactive web, video and multimedia training products. The individual will be responsible for product research, programming/authoring, interface design, testing and quality control. Products include web-based training, SharePoint sites, multimedia applications, video productions, graphic design, and print products.

• Support the full lifecycle development of web, video, and multimedia training products (analyze, design, develop, deploy, maintain).
• Participate in product research, programming/authoring, interface design, testing, and quality control.
• Develop and maintain web-based training, SharePoint sites, multimedia applications, video productions, graphic design, and print products.
• Operate Linux environments and cloud infrastructure (AWS, including S3 and EC2).
• Configure and manage Apache Web Server and Apache Tomcat.
• Develop with Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and JavaScript.
• Utilize VS Code for development tasks.
• Configure, implement, and maintain Enterprise Application Auditing Tool, Enterprise Application MFA Solution (OAuth), and RBAC (Role Based Access Control).
• Develop and support automation and orchestration processes for IAM services.
• Understand IAM governance frameworks, RBAC, group policy management, and privileged access management (PAM) tools.
• Convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and teach navigation of Git Hub, Linux-based OS, and AWS services (S3, EC2).
• Follow software development best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated expertise with AWS infrastructure security and access controls.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt equipment and technology to user needs and technology design.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
• Demonstrated understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering with ten years of software development experience (or equivalent).
• Bonus points for: migration experience from on-premises services to AWS; maintaining Java and PHP applications on Windows; experience with Maven or Gradle; experience with AWS Secrets Manager.
• Three years of experience contributing to software development activities and/or projects within the IC.
