This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with required polygraph.
Your ProjectWe're a diverse, strong team of developers and analysts supporting an enterprise-level analytic and visualization tool that serves vast amounts of time-critical data to a broad user base in support of national security. Our ETL team develops pipelines to bring in data from across the community in development and production environments to support users across the globe.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be providing software development support in a secure environment utilizing a variety of language and platforms including:
- PostgreSQL/PostGIS database interaction
- Maintenance and development of a custom Python-based ETL framework
- Scripting/automated gathering of new data sources
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, geography or related field or four years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Python
- Experience in Bash scripting
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Basic knowledge of HTTP
- Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts.
- Experience with ESRI server and services in cloud environment
- Experience with ESRI's ArcGIS Java script API and/or other GIS software applications
- Dev Ops certification
- Understanding of REST
- Experience operating in AWS/C2S
- Understanding of SSL/TLS
- The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $ - $ - $ annually.
