Full Stack Developer
to join our innovative, customer-focused team in Chantilly, VA.

Summary

The Full Stack Developer will be part of an agile software development team supporting software development, operations and maintenance, and Agile/Scrum delivery. The role designs and implements backend APIs using Java and Spring Boot, develops secure React user interfaces, and creates optimized PostgreSQL schemas and queries. Candidates should have proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise applications from concept through deployment and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-stack design and development support using Java, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement normalized PostgreSQL schemas and entity relationships.
• Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs.
• Support data migration initiatives and ensure data integrity.
• Plan and execute deployments, version control processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility and enterprise security standards.

Qualification

• Active Top-Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience
• Extensive experience with Java, Spring Framework/Security 6+, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate 6+, SQL/PLSQL, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, Maven, and Git/Git Lab.
• Experience with database design and data migration.
• Experience with AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora, Cloud Watch), Keycloak, Kubernetes, Maven, and Docker.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative.
