Senior Computer Engineer / Embedded Software Engineer

My client is seeking a Senior Computer Engineer to support a high-impact national security program in Chantilly, VA. The role blends embedded software, machine learning, and reverse engineering work to tackle some of today's toughest technical challenges.

• Work directly on critical national security and defense missions
• Apply Go and Rust alongside C/C++ in embedded, real-time systems
• Get hands-on with reverse engineering of custom operating systems
• Lead your own tasks within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
• Target Pay: $240,000 to $260,000 per year

• Collect and analyze technical information from multiple sources to drive fast-moving missions
• Design and implement machine learning and data engineering techniques for S&T missions
• Develop in C/C++, applying newer languages like Go or Rust to embedded systems
• Support real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded system development
• Apply reverse engineering principles to analyze compiled custom operating systems
• Independently propose and execute creative solutions to unique technical problems

• Be able to do the job as described.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S. citizenship required
• Background in national security, defense, or the intelligence community
