Senior Service Now Developer

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Development Team on a mission-critical NRO program. You will support our client with design, creation, deployment, and maintenance of multiple Service Now applications. The Senior Service Now Developer will play a key role and server as a trusted adviser to client.

What You'll Get to Do:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the Service Now platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, SPM, CMDB, ITOM/ITAM, CSM, ATF, Dev Sec Ops , Service Portal, custom application development, etc.
• You will be responsible for helping to develop code, unit test, hold code reviews, check in code, and help to build the code pipeline for continuous integration/continuous delivery.
• Customize Service Now applications and facilitate roll out of new applications and modules and configure application UI, workflow, and API.
• Create, maintain configuration management on the Service Now platform in all environments.
• Collaborate effectively with other Service Now administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests.
• Plans for data ingestion from different legacy sources, makes design decisions on that data, and works to reconcile data based on the chosen authoritative source.
• Revolutionize and reimagine Service Now Service Portal Implementation by leveraging customizations, widget capabilities.
• Leverages UI policies, UI actions, and client scripts.
• Develops applications and modules using scripted REST APIs and customized notifications, approvals, and inbound email actions.
• Coordinate with multiple departments within and outside of the customer's organization to accomplish project tasks.
• Independent self-starter and proactive at developing solutions and solving business problems using Service Now.
• Work in an Agile Team creating/using stories and other Agile and/or SAFE applications within Service Now.

Qualifications:

• An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
• Security+ certified or the ability to obtain certification within 3 months of start date
• Bachelor's degree preferably in an IT related field 7 years of related experience; or a Master's with 5 years of experience; an Associates with 9 years of experience. A minimum of 7 years' technical experience.
• Extensive development experience with JavaScript's programming language and how it applies to Service Now, along with Service Now Glide.
• Understanding of best practices across both commercial and federal sectors as it relates to workflow and process management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in scrum and agile frameworks for development to include task management, performing stand-ups and sprint reviews, gathering requirements, and creating documentation.

Nice to Have:

• ITIL 4 certification
• Service Now developer certification, preferably Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Graphics design or UX/UI design experience.
• Experience in HTML/CSS and Jelly scripting
• Other web based development experience using Angular, React and/or Python
