Responsible for safely and efficiently operating a vacuum sweeper truck and dump truck as needed.

• Operate vacuum sweeper truck
• Operate dump truck as required
• Drive with a valid CDL class A or B and a good driving record
• Maintain safe operation of equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Nighttime and weekend hours may be required

• Demonstrate safety awareness and follow all safety protocols
• Identify and report near‑miss incidents
• Speak up when observing unsafe acts
• Use proper personal protective equipment and tools
• Ask for help when needed to perform tasks safely
• Consider safer work methods and communicate them

• Prior experience as a vacuum truck driver (not entry level)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Good communication with supervisors and colleagues
• Tanker endorsement is a plus

• Must stand, stoop, bend, and crouch for long periods; walk on uneven surfaces
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds individually and up to 90 pounds with assistance
• Manual dexterity to handle generators, lumber, tools, and materials
• Maintain alertness to concurrent activities on the construction site
• Operate a man‑lift and climb on/off heavy mobile equipment safely

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Exposure to high levels of noise, grease, and dust associated with construction
• Regular proximity to heavy equipment and moving machinery
• Possible contact with substances such as oil, grease, curing compounds, gasoline, diesel fuel, and asphalt
