Warehouse Team Lead

Impact Floors of Texas, a leader in multi-family flooring services, seeks a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced construction supply warehouse. You will supervise a small team, coordinate receiving, staging, and loading of flooring materials, and maintain accurate inventory for installation crews. Responsibilities include ensuring safe equipment use, enforcing OSHA and company safety standards, organizing the warehouse for efficiency, and meeting tight delivery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule warehouse staff to meet daily operational goals
• Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping of flooring materials
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and support regular cycle counts
• Ensure safe operation of forklifts and material-handling equipment
• Organize warehouse layout for efficient flow and space utilization
• Coordinate order fulfillment and truck loading to meet installation schedules
• Monitor and enforce OSHA and company safety policies
• Communicate closely with operations and installation teams on material needs
• Train and coach team members on procedures and performance standards
• Assist with basic reporting, documentation, and use of WMS or inventory tools
