** We’re looking for a Driver Manager to join us on a 6-month secondment—someone who’s not just focused on keeping buses running on time, but on inspiring the people who drive them and shaping the future of public transport in the community.
** What You’ll Be Steering
*** Lead from the front – manage day-to-day depot operations, ensuring services run safely, smoothly, and efficiently
* Empower your team – motivate, coach, and develop a team of drivers, creating an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing culture
* Own the journey – take responsibility for performance, safety, customer service, and compliance
* Make an impact – drive continuous improvement, handle challenges with confidence, and contribute to Arriva’s long-term success
** What You’ll Bring
*** Proven experience managing operational teams (transport or logistics experience is a strong advantage)
* A people-focused leadership style with a passion for performance and development
* Confidence in managing budgets, resolving issues, and delivering excellent customer outcomes
* Experience working with Trade Unions and handling sensitive employee matters
* Eligibility for—or existing qualification as—a Transport Manager (O-License holder)
