What You’ll Do:In this dynamic role, you’ll support the production and repair of Kustom Signals' products by testing, troubleshooting, modifying, and configuring systems. You’ll also assist in development engineering efforts, work closely with technical teams, and ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your knowledge of analog/digital circuitry and network protocols will be key in ensuring every unit performs flawlessly in the field.
Key Responsibilities:- Test, modify, rework, and repair Kustom Signals products
- Configure systems to meet customer specifications with a strong focus on quality and delivery
- Interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documents to conduct testing and troubleshooting
- Diagnose malfunctions and isolate issues to the component level
- Conduct engineering and experimental tests to collect data and support R&D initiatives
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on layout and assembly process improvements
- Recommend design changes to enhance product manufacturability and performance
- Test software, firmware, and hardware modifications for quality compliance
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers
- Process associated documentation such as calibration certificates, packing slips, service reports, and more
- Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

What You’ll Bring:
Education & Experience:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vo-Tech certificate in Electronics Technology or related field, Associate Degree, or Military Electronics Training
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electronic Technician in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuitry
- Experience testing and troubleshooting complex systems
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer
- Skilled with test equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and more
- Familiarity with networking and common protocols
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and detailed instructions
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working across teams
- Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Use close and distance vision for component-level work
- Read and interpret work orders, prints, and schematics accurately
