Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Weekend rotation:
Every other weekend Holiday rotation:
Rotate with other staff/travelers
Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed
Hours:
36 hours per week
Requirements:
- AHA BLS certification
- Valid KS or multistate RN license required at time of submission
- 1 year of experience in Med-Surg
- Charting:
Cerner - General Medical and Surgical knowledge
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to medical-surgical patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and observe patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to appropriate medical staff.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
Compliance / Notes:
Orientation: 1-2 days Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Potential for accommodating block schedule; some schedules may require three shifts in a row.
