Apply today.Your Role as the Administrator Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Skilled Nursing Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our Skilled Nursing Community. In this rewarding role, you'll be responsible for creating a warm, nurturing environment that enhances the quality of life for our residents and our employees. As an Administrator, you'll oversee all aspects of community management, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
What You'll Do:
- Leadership and Management:
Lead with a resident-first focus, prioritizing compassionate care and staff development to foster a nurturing environment. - Team
Collaboration:
Cultivate a culture of teamwork and open communication among all staff members to ensure exceptional care and support for our residents. - Commitment to Excellence:
Uphold the highest standards of care, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement to deliver the best resident experience possible. - Fiscal Management:
Develop and oversee the facility's budget, monitor expenses, revenue, and occupancy rates, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and revenue growth. - Community Engagement:
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, foster a sense of belonging, and engage with the local community to promote the facility's commitment to quality care. - Staff Recruitment and Development:
Hire, train, and lead a dedicated team of certified caregivers, nurses, and support staff, ensuring high standards of service and care. - Operations Coordination:
Oversee and coordinate medical, nursing, and administrative activities to ensure smooth daily operations. - Facility Management:
Manage building improvements and equipment upgrades to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff. - Policy Adherence:
Adhere, and enforce policies that uphold a high standard of care and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
What you bring:
Licensure:
Current state administrator licensure required.
Education:
A bachelor's degree is required. Relevant fields of study often include Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Gerontology, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a strong track record of successfully managing, leading, and developing teams in a senior living management role.
Interpersonal
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with residents, their families, team members, and the local community.
Knowledge: A deep understanding of healthcare regulations, medical terminology, and med management protocol, compliance, and standards is crucial to ensure that the facility operates within legal and ethical boundaries.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift and safely transfer residents. Vision requirements include being able to see near and far with good depth perception.
