Full Time , Days , 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, call rotation
The Finish Carpenter/Maintenance Mechanic performs construction and renovation hospital-wide and performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all non‑medical equipment and systems hospital wide. Performs rounds of the facility daily. Responsible for daily record keeping of jobs, time and material used. Take call during off‑hours on a scheduled basis to ensure the integrity of the facility. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
QualificationsEducation
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) preferred.
- Needs a working knowledge of finish carpentry skills including framing, dry wall work, ceramic tile, counter tops, painting, mill work, and minor electrical and plumbing.
- Needs a working knowledge of maintenance mechanic works and repairs.
- Must have the ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions.
- Current valid Driver’s License with no restrictions on driving.
- Previous carpentry experience required.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
