Job Description
An established and growing diesel shop is seeking an organized, effective Field Service Technician for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic role in Chanute, KS. The position requires frequent travel across Kansas.
Compensation$35.00 – $60.00 per hour to start, with benefits including:

Day Shift, Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Overtime is expected to accommodate emergencies.
Requirements- Provide excellent inspection, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of common and difficult issues on heavy equipment.
- Test and verify equipment performance.
- Knowledgeable about diesel manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Kubota, John Deere, Terex, Link‑Belt, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, etc.
- Experience with Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, International engines is ideal.
- Maintain strong customer service acumen and attitude.
- Valid CDL Class A or ability to secure one within 90 days.
