Summary :
This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair of residential and agricultural propane systems, and delivery of propane to customers. This position will also be expected to provide driving and operational support to the Agronomy department on an as needed basis.
- Propane Operations
- Install, maintain, and repair customer tanks
- Perform system inspections, maintenance, and leak checks
- Safely and efficiently deliver propane to customers
- Complete customer right to know, tank leases, and work orders
- Submit all work orders in a timely manner for accurate billing
- Agronomy Operations
- Blending, mixing, delivering, loading, and unloading of fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and merchandise
- Verification of correct product type and product amount when loading/unloading
- Fill and deliver NH3 tanks
- Assist with chemical and fertilizer activities, including inventory management and recordkeeping
- Ensure all paperwork for product deliveries and services are promptly turned in
- Customer Service
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Work with customers to resolve problems and report complaints to supervisor
- Ensure customers are informed of safe product handling
- Attend meetings, trainings, professional development, and continuing education opportunities
- Equipment/Facility Maintenance
- Ensure vehicles, facility, and equipment are maintained to high safety standards
- Operate equipment and vehicles in a safe manner
- Ensure all location facilities are clean and organized
- Communicate recommendations on replacements, additions, or deletions of equipment when needed
- Safety
- Hold self and others accountable to safety policies and safe behaviors
- Maintain a safe, sanitary workplace in compliance with company policies and regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT, etc.)
- Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct unsafe actions and/or conditions
