Staff Accountant

Position: Staff Accountant

Location: Chapel Hill, NC (Hybrid)

Pay: $27/hour

Experience: 2 to 5 years of accounting operations experience with AR and AP exposure.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Greene Resources is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing and dynamic team!

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including billing, renewals, collections, and cash application.
• Enter and maintain customer contracts and billing data in Sage Intacct.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Customer Success to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Oversee accounts payable activities, including vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, and charge card transactions.
• Prepare weekly AP schedules and support cash flow forecasting with leadership.
• Assist with sales and use tax filings through Anrok and support audit preparation efforts.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and hands‑on experience with ERP accounting systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Experience supporting tax compliance and audit documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to improve and automate accounting processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative work style.
