Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant reports directly to the chair of the Department of Nutrition. The position provides individual executive support to the chair, and manages the administrative operations of the office of the chair, as delegated by the chair and department manager, including but not limited to overseeing department level internal and external communications, scheduling, meetings, events, and awards.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency and three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or Associate's degree in secretarial science, business administration, or a related discipline and one year of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
- Some experience working as an executive assistant in a higher education setting is preferred.
