Add Health Contracts Coordinator
The Add Health Contracts Coordinator supports the administration of the Add Health restricted-use data program by coordinating researcher access to restricted-use data and ensuring that related contracts, agreements, and access permissions are managed accurately and efficiently. Serving as a primary point of contact for researchers and institutional representatives, this position provides guidance throughout the application and contract process and helps ensure compliance with established data use and data security requirements.
Working closely with Add Health investigators and staff, the UNC Office of Sponsored Programs, CPC Information Technology, and external institutions, the Add Health Contracts Coordinator manages the day-to-day operations of the restricted-use contracts program. Responsibilities include overseeing the online Contracts Management System, facilitating the execution of Data Use Agreements, coordinating researcher access to secure computing environments, supporting Data Hosting Agreement applications, and maintaining records related to contracts and authorized data users.
The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse community of researchers and administrative partners.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, including reviewing, processing, and maintaining accurate records and administrative documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and organizations. Experience in administrative support, contract administration, project coordination, research administration, compliance, customer service, or related fields, preferably within higher education, research, nonprofit, healthcare, or government settings.
Experience managing records, databases, and workflow tracking systems, including coordinating contract- or agreement-related processes from document collection and review through tracking and record maintenance. Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements consistently, with familiarity with data privacy, data security, and compliance standards.
