The Office of the University Registrar ( OUR ) serves several key duties as set from the Faculty Code of University Government:
- OUR serves as the keeper of the academic records of all students registered in the University and issues official transcripts and reports of such records;
2) conducts the registration of all students in the University;
3) prepares and publishes the class and examination schedules; and
4) administers the faculty regulations relating to the removal of academic deficiencies incurred in this University and to compliance with probation and readmission requirements.
To fulfill these duties the office has following core service areas for and on behalf of the university community, including students, alumni, administration, faculty, staff, and other constituents.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Scheduling Specialist within the Office of the University Registrar ( OUR ) to support the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of the University’s academic scheduling and classroom space management operations. Reporting to the Assistant Registrar for Scheduling, this position serves as a key operational and technical resource responsible for maintaining the University’s schedule of classes, coordinating classroom assignments, and supporting the effective use of instructional space across undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.
