Daycare Toddler Teacher

Responsibilities

* Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children

* Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you

* Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space

* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community

* Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

* Support children's individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (NCECC) or equivalent preferred

* 1+ year of early childhood experience and experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting is strongly preferred

* Current certification in Child CPR and First Aid (preferred)

* Excellent classroom management and communication skills

* Able to reliably commute or relocate to Chapel Hill, NC 27516

* Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
