You'll build trusted relationships with families as you provide nurturing care and help children develop their foundation. Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children

Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you

Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community

Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth

High School Diploma or equivalent

North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (NCECC) or equivalent preferred

1+ year of early childhood experience and experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting is strongly preferred

Current certification in Child CPR and First Aid (preferred)

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Able to reliably commute or relocate to Chapel Hill, NC 27516

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
