Daycare Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
• Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (NCECC) or equivalent preferred
• 2+ year of early childhood experience (required) and experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting is strongly preferred
• Current certification in Child CPR and First Aid (preferred)
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Able to reliably commute or relocate to Chapel Hill, NC 27516
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
