Daycare Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
As a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, you'll embark on an exciting journey of discovery alongside our little learners. - Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning space
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (NCECC) or equivalent preferred
- 2+ year of early childhood experience (required) and experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting is strongly preferred
- Current certification in Child CPR and First Aid (preferred)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Able to reliably commute or relocate to Chapel Hill, NC 27516
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
