Trinity School Full‑Time Middle School Latin Teacher

Trinity School seeks a full‑time Middle School Latin teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching three sections of 8th‑grade Latin I and one additional Middle School course, selected based on the candidate’s qualifications and interests.

Teach Latin with a focus on grammar, translation, and the history and literature of Ancient Rome. Create engaging, research‑based lessons that develop students’ critical thinking, writing, and public speaking skills. Incorporate instructional technology, such as the 1:1 iPad program, to enhance learning experiences.

• Bachelor’s degree in Latin, Classics, or Secondary Education with a Language emphasis.
• Proven experience teaching Latin at the secondary level; advanced study in the field preferred.
• Understanding of, and commitment to, Trinity’s Christian mission and inclusive classroom practices.
• Comfortable with mentoring students, building rapport with parents, and collaborating within the school community.
• Current teacher certification is an asset but not required.
