PositionSummary
The Training and Administrative Coordinator will work closely with Dr. Paul Lanier, a distinguished professor at the UNC School of Social Work, on a project to build capacity and expand access to suicide prevention training for colleges and universities across North Carolina.
In this role, the coordinator collaborates with program leadership and partners to plan, coordinate, and deliver educational programs that provide high-quality, accessible learning experiences. Responsibilities include managing training schedules, registration processes, and course materials, while ensuring accurate tracking of participant enrollment, attendance, and completion.
To support successful program delivery, the coordinator provides logistical oversight for both in-person and virtual trainings and facilitates communication with internal and external stakeholders. This position also serves in a registrar support capacity by overseeing registration workflows, managing shared email inquiries, and maintaining accurate participant records. The coordinator tracks and monitors program outcomes, including enrollment, attendance, and completion data, and prepares reports to support program evaluation, continuous improvement, and grant reporting requirements.
The position contributes to the overall effectiveness of the program by supporting the implementation of research-informed educational offerings aligned with workforce and community needs, helping to advance operational excellence within the continuing education portfolio.
