The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Records and Enrollment Services Specialist within the Office of the University Registrar ( OUR ) to provide functional leadership for the University’s grading processes and to support the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the academic record. This position plays a critical role in administering grading and records operations, supporting enrollment services, and ensuring compliance with University, UNC System, state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
The work directly supports student success, degree progress, institutional reporting, and the University’s academic mission.
As the University’s central office for student academic records, the Office of the University Registrar oversees registration, grading, transcript services, classroom scheduling, academic eligibility, degree conferral, curriculum management, academic calendar administration, and compliance with FERPA , NCAA , Veterans Affairs, UNC System, and federal reporting. The Records and Enrollment Services Specialist serves as a functional expert for grading and academic records, providing guidance and support to faculty, academic departments, students, and administrative offices across the University.
