University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is hiring a Clinical Education Assessment Analyst. The analyst evaluates learner clinical performance, competency development, and progression within the Adams School of Dentistry's predoctoral program, translating assessment data into insights that guide faculty and Clinical Education leadership. Working alongside preceptors, course directors, and Institutional Effectiveness, the role strengthens assessment methodology and helps align clinical evaluation practices with accreditation and curricular goals.
Highlights- Analyze clinical education data to evaluate learner performance, competency development, and progression toward practice readiness.
- Identify trends and performance gaps and translate findings into reports for faculty and Clinical Education leadership.
- Partner with preceptors, course directors, and Institutional Effectiveness to strengthen assessment methodology and faculty calibration.
- Support alignment of clinical assessment practices with accreditation requirements and curricular objectives.
- Develop analytical reports and assessment resources to communicate educational outcomes.
- Resolve data-quality issues affecting educational analysis in collaboration with institutional partners.
- Bachelor's or master's degree with 0-2 years of related experience.
- Based in the Adams School of Dentistry's Office of Academic Affairs, reporting to the Director of Clinical Education.
