As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer
-Industrial in our Chapel Hill office, you will help us empower our clients to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing Industrial and Advanced Manufacturing industry through design and improvement of electrical systems for all types of facilities.

In this role, you will be involved in a variety of exciting engineering-led projects with the design of industrial/manufacturing facilities, testing facilities, automotive and aerospace facilities, energy and utility facilities, and plant betterment projects.
Responsibilities- Lead engineering efforts on multi-discipline projects and provide leadership, guidance, instruction, and mentorship to less experienced team members.
- Develop scope of work, conceptual design, detailed design, and execution plans for projects in process/manufacturing, industrial, healthcare, educational, or governmental facilities.
- Support proposals and assist in client sales presentations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and individuals at all levels within an organization.
- BSEE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).
- 10+ years of experience in the consulting engineering industry for process/manufacturing facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, or governmental facilities.
- Ability to develop scope of work, conceptual design, detailed design, and execution plans.
- Ability to support proposals and assist in client sales presentations.
- Professional Engineering License (PE) in one or more states.
- Advanced knowledge of power distribution systems including specification of medium voltage equipment, power systems fault and coordination studies, power system protection schemes and protective relays.
- Proficiency in engineering calculation/selection software (e.g., Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, SKM Power Tools, ETAP, Smart Plant, Smart Plant Electrical, or similar).
- Experience in researching, compiling and presenting project data for client presentations, shop drawing review and contract administration as requested by project managers.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Effective working in MS Excel, MS Word and Bluebeam; quick technical comprehension and a client-focused mindset.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively individually and within team environments.
