Full-time | Exempt About the Role Voltage is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and detail mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using CAD software. You’ll play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, improving design efficiency, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure high-quality, compliant engineering solutions
What You’ll DoDevelop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards.
Review specifications, sketches, and engineering concepts to determine design feasibility and requirements.
Update and revise designs to correct issues or incorporate improvements.
Perform mechanical calculations and basic analyses to validate designs and ensure performance.
Support prototype creation, testing, and verification to confirm manufacturability and functionality.
Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate materials, tolerances, and mechanical performance.
Work with manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and improve processes.
Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and assembly requirements.
Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, and installation.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings and engineering change records.
Ensure revision control accuracy and compliance with documentation standards.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into updated models and drawings.
What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
0–2 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, CATIA).Understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
