The Junior Community Manager is responsible for bringing our brand voice to life across social channels and cultivating a thriving, highly engaged fan community. This role blends creativity, real-time communication, and data-driven insights to build meaningful relationships with motorsports enthusiasts.

In this role, you’ll directly support our prestigious motorsports client. A major focus of this position is live-event coverage, reactive community management, and real-time content publishing.

Please note:

Because live sports and race weekends happen in real time, this position requires a flexible schedule outside of standard Monday–Friday 9–5 hours
, including evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during key event windows.

Social Media + Community Management:

• Real-Time Content Publishing:
  Execute live publishing during race weekends and event activations, ensuring rapid distribution aligned with client brand guidelines.
• Live Event & Sports Coverage:
  Support live-event coverage, real-time story capturing, and instant community commentary to capitalize on active sports moments as they unfold.
• Community Engagement:
  Actively monitor and grow online communities across platforms through authentic, timely responses. Champion a fast, witty, and knowledgeable sports tone of voice.
• Platform Expertise & Calendar Management:
  Understand platform nuances and manage dynamic social calendars in partnership with the Strategy + Community Manager.
• Moderation & Safety:
  Enforce community guidelines and moderation processes to maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment during high-volume live moments.
• User-Generated Content (UGC):
  Source and manage rights for high-performing UGC from fans and attendees to leverage across official channels.

Reporting + Insight:

• Event & Social Reporting:
  Track audience engagement, sentiment, and reaction metrics during and after live events to inform future coverage strategies.
• Trend & Cultural Analysis:
  Stay ahead of viral sports moments, automotive/motorsports trends, meme culture, and emerging social tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Sports Management, or a related field.
• A passion for sports, live events, and the automotive/motorsports industry.
• Schedule Flexibility:
  Willingness and ability to work non-traditional hours—including weekends, evenings, and race days—to support live coverage schedules.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to write quick, engaging, and error-free copy under tight, live-event deadlines.
• Solid understanding of core social media platforms (Instagram, You Tube, Tik Tok, X) and their respective features, trends, and formats.
• High organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with social media management, publishing, and listening tools

• Strong team player who collaborates seamlessly with cross-functional creative, strategy, and client teams.
