Financial Accounting Manager; Onsite

Location: Chapel Hill, NC (onsite; relocating to Timberlake, NC mid-year)
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

About the Role:
Voltage is seeking an experienced General Ledger (GL) Accounting Manager to oversee the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company’s general ledger and financial reporting processes. This role manages month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable).

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Support Payroll & Benefits for payroll journal accuracy.
• Maintain GL structure within ERP system (SAP experience preferred)
• Lead and manage treasury, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
• Manage performance goals and KPIs for accounting team members.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 6–10+ years of progressive accounting.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and best practices in financial management.
• Proficiency in financial software like SAP and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• General Ledger Experience
• CPA (active or in-progress)
• Fluency in Mandiran or Chinese (preferred)

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to communicate effectively in person and via phone/video. Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
