Summary:
The Director of Finance, UNC SOM is a professional, managerial, and leadership position directly responsible for overseeing the daily operations to include system development and integration, financial management, financial analysis, and accounting processes. The Director reports directly to a higher-level executive.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance (or substantial equivalent with concentration in business administration). Licensure/Certification Requirements:
None required. Professional Experience Requirements:
Seven (7) years of progressive experience in health care budgeting/finance. Proven experience in managing multiple and complex projects. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Understands and applies principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized expertise.
